Playing at the mall

I took Ella to Willow Bend mall today to meet a friend and her son for lunch. Ella loved playing in the play area. She really liked climbing in and out of the cars even though she's making a silly face in the picture. She wasn't too sure about the train when I turned it on though. She wanted off immediately! We let a little boy finish the ride.

We have been playing inside a lot this week because it has been raining everyday. We are ready for the sun to come out. Ella was having fun playing with play-doh.

Father's Day

I'm pretty sure Chris enjoyed Father's Day this year. It was pretty low key and he got to watch the US Open...would have been a little better if Tiger had come in First place not second. We can't have everything!

Chris and Ella began the morning watching one of her favorite programs - The Mickey Mouse Club.

Did someone say Mardi Gras? I think we might be in BIG trouble in a few years, and by few I mean at least 25!!

I'm on a roll this week posting pictures of our cutie pie! I thought these were too cute to pass up. I got her kid shampoo instead of the combo the baby wash/shampoo combo and she's mesmerized by the amount of foam. She loves to help wash her hair now.

Ella's "new" tricycle

Chris brought home a tricycle for Ella from his sister. She was very excited about it at first but soon realized that she can't really make it go on her own yet. I must be getting old because it was really hurting my back to push her around! She had more fun pushing it around than riding on it. Give her some time and we won't be able to get her off of it.

I'm just going to see if there are any birds in the bird bath.

She was not ready to come inside but I was. It was so hot. She just kept playing on the deck while I stood inside right at the door and watched her sweat!

Hot & sweaty!

We took advantage of the few moments the sun was out over the weekend! Ella sure did get hot and sweaty fast....maybe because of all the nasty humidity outside.

Enough of these, I just want my snack now.

After a nice quick bath Ella is ready to go meet her gal pals, Shelby and KK for dinner and then over to KK's house to boss them around!
