The kids had some Halloween parties to go to today.  I must say Ariel and Sebastian are real cute!!  Ella has really gotten into the candy part of Halloween.  I think trick-or-treating is going to be a lot of fun for her this year.  I'll have to figure out how to secretly get rid of the candy!

Pumpkin Patch

Last weekend I took the kids to the Arboretum. We met Stacey, her mom and Lola. Ella and Lola ran around the pumpkin patch and played. After many pictures were taken they ran through a maze. As Ella was running out of the maze she bumped into a man and fell down...into the mud! She was not happy being dirty. Her white shirt was now brown and of course I didn't have an extra outfit in the bag for her. After I wiped her down she hung in there for a while longer.

We had a big day today!  Ella had her three year check-up and Bennett had his four month check-up.  Both kiddos are healthy!  Ella seems to be tall and thin while Bennett is off the charts.  That's my boy!

Sneak Peak

We had our fall pictures taken yesterday at the Arboretum.  The photoggrapher was Jennifer Zindler.  Here are a few pictures on her blog under michelle & co.  I'm anxious to see the rest of them.  Almost all of us in our book club have CUTE kids now.  Jennifer is going to meet us at a park and take pictures of all the kiddos!  I think it'll be a lot fun. 

A visit to San Antonio

I had a trip planned to San Antonio a few weeks ago but hurricane Ike put a kink in the plans.  We ended up going down last week.  Both kids were terrific in the car.  Thankfully Ella was content watching a movie the whole time and playing with her new Mermaid Barbie and Bennett only cried once each way when he got hungry.  It was so much easier than I had envisioned.  On the way down we stopped in Austin at my friend Missy's house.  I forgot to bring my camera in so I didn't get any pictures of Ella playing with Avery.  They had fun eating lunch together and playing dress-up.  On Thursday we went over to Leslie's house.  Amanda and Liam came over also.  I finally got to meet Liam.  What a cutie!  Ella and Hudson played outside with Kane...well, not sure I'd call picking on Kane playing but they all had fun.  Bennett and Liam napped and hung out with the mommies.  Then on Friday my mom and I took the kids to the Children's Museum.  Ella enjoyed exploring around and then decided she was going to lay down on a couch for a while.

This post should actually be before Ella's birthday, but mama's a little slow.  A couple weeks ago Ivy and her kids picked us up in the momvan and we headed down to the zoo for the day.  Everyone had a great time.  Ella loves Graham, Bryce and Layne!  Ivy was very creative with her zoo post.  I'm just going to post a couple cute pictures.
