Bluebonnets and kids
One of the great things about Texas is our beautiful state flower, the bluebonnet. It's such a pretty flower and they grow all over Texas in the spring. While driving back from California they were starting to bloom. If we'd been driving to San Antonio rather than Dallas I have a feeling we'd have seen a lot more since they love the Hill Country. Just in front of our neighborhood, on Bethany, there's wild flowers with bluebonnets growing. Everyday Ella points them out. She loves them and asks to go take pictures. The day I pick to go is the day it's about to storm. Urgh. It was so windy. The kids had fun running around. As I was putting the kids back into the car two people stopped and asked if everything was alright. Thought I might be having car trouble. Gotta love Texans! Then as we drove off the rain started.
