My brother’s good friend, Nils, is a professional photographer. He is an action photographer and used to work for Sports Illustrated. He offered to take family pictures of us on the beach while out in San Diego. Of course I loved this idea! Well, we probably should have met him on a day we hadn’t spent out at the beach all day. Ella wore herself out. She fell asleep on the drive from one beach spot to the next since we needed a better beach. Once we arrived at Cardiff I woke her up and she was a grump! She wouldn’t even let me put her down for pictures. My high hopes for cute Ella & Bennett pictures didn’t pan out. We got some awesome shots of Bennett though. He LOVED the camera.
First family shot….everyone’s happy except Ella.
Might be as good as it gets.
