Our night with FIVE!

We had our first night with five kids!  Our nieces and nephew spent the night last Saturday.  Avery is eight, Gabby is six and Brody will be two in a couple weeks.  Ella was so excited!   She was already on cloud nine since my dad and sister had flown in and spent Thursday night here and we were with them most of the day in Oklahoma on Friday and knew they were coming back on Sunday.  Needless to say we were having a busy weekend.  The kids did great.  I wasn’t really nervous about having five kids because I figured they’d be able to entertain themselves for the most part, except of course the little guys, but I was just wondering how chaotic it’d get around meal times, bed times, etc.  I have to say it went smoothly.  But, that doesn’t mean Chris & I are going to have anymore kids so don’t get your hopes up, Mom & Dad. :)  We only had five for one night.  I think if it had been a week I’d have been exhausted.

After the boys took a bath we had a dance party!  Everyone enjoyed it!  Brody got into it by wearing some heels! 

The boys were so tired.  Bennett passed out as soon as his head hit his pillow.  Brody was cuddled up with Uncle Chris for a long time on the couch and told me he was ready for bed but as soon as he saw where he was sleeping he quickly changed his mind!  He fell asleep eventually. :)
