Easter weekend

We have been in California visiting my dad's side of the family.  Easter weekend was busy and fun filled, full of family!  The day started off with an Easter egg hunt at dad's church.  The kids had a great time doing crafts, visiting with the Easter bunny and hunting for eggs.

They both loved the easter bunny.  In fact, Bennett loved him so much he kept going back.  Over and over again.  He didn't want to leave the bunny!

Once he discovered this craft he was happy.  He must have stayed here for at least 15 minutes making these eggs.

 Getting an Easter tatoo

 Headed to the egg hunt

He was pretty content with the first egg he found.

Check out all my eggs, Bennett!

After we headed back to the house for the nap Bennett would not take, Ella and Titi dyed eggs.

While dying eggs the cousins arrive and the party begins!  Playtime for the night kicks in and the kids are in full force wild mode!

Ryan, Jake & Ella went straight for the hot tub

Bennett went straight for the queso!

I forgot all about the cascarones (confetti filled eggs) until later in the night!  It's our Texas tradition and I found them out here so I had to bring a taste of home especially since we were having a Mexican feast.  Just the girls got to do them since the Jacksons had already left.

It was so fun seeing all the family that was able to come.  We missed everyone that couldn't be here but we thought of you all.

***Next family reunion San Diego Rock-n-Roll Marathon followed by a family cruise after high school graduation!
