Friends + Snow = Good times!

One of my best friends, Leslie, and her family came up to Dallas for the weekend.  It was the last weekend of spring break.  The guys were going to golf on Saturday while the girls took the kids out for a photo session and playing.  I mean what else would two moms that are obsessed with  enjoy photographing their kids do?  Then the forecast predicts rain for Saturday....hmmm...well, move golf to Sunday and the girls will go to the Arboretum for Dallas Blooms for a different photo session of the kids with a gorgeous background of tulips and azaleas.  New forecast....rain still on Saturday but turning into snow in the late evening.  What???  Snow???  Isn't it supposed to be the first day of spring on Sunday?  Plans change yet again.  We ended up having a wonderful weekend full of friends - Brooke & John came up Friday and twice on Saturday and Jacob, Stacey & Lola came over Saturday evening.  It did indeed start snowing Saturday evening.  The kids were upstairs watching a movie in their pjs.  We called them down and bundled them up for playtime as the snow fell from the sky.  Leslie and the Lonsdale crew were in heaven!  They hadn't seen snow before (the kids, that is).  Ella has gotten to love the snow since we've had the weirdest winter here but B still hates it and won't go near it.  Then we wake up and I think to myself - I wonder if it stuck.  Well, we had like 6-8 inches.  CRAZY!  Now the Lonsdale's are in complete heaven!!  Here are pictures from our fun weekend!!
