Play school

Yesterday during Bennett's nap.

Ella: Mom can I watch TV?
Me: No, honey, you watch too much TV.
Ella: Pleeeeeease can I watch one show on TV?
Me: No.
Ella: Can I watch a movie?
Me: (with a giggle) That's TV!
Ella: What can I do then?
Me: How about you get some stuffed animals and line them up in front of the chalkboard and play school? You can be their teacher.  That's what I did when I was little.
Ella: (bright eyed) OK!

This probably lasted at least an hour.  Whew!  Good thinking.  Thanks to a quick look at the chalk board.

Her class getting ready for lunch

She was teaching them numbers.  We'll work on writing 5s and 6s next week. :)

So fun!

That's so cute....you liked to teach music class with the piano music to all your dolls and animals.
