Shoot and Edit - Red Edited

Well, this week is adding up to be a fun one here.  There's a hint of sarcasm in that!  We've been iced in since Tuesday.  Yuck!

I decided to edit the close-up picture of my daughter.  Here they are.

*After many attempts of using the spot healing tool in PSE8 to get rid of the blemish on her chin and it not working, I simply used a quick click in iphoto and then brought the photo over to Bridge to open in Camera Raw.

I did a few adjustments in PSE8.  Tried the noise reduction, although I'm not sure I really needed it in this photo, then I merged my layers down and applied the PW's eye pop action and then I think I used Mud Pies action by Amy McAllister (??) and lastly added Edge Burn by PW.

Overall, a nice job - I might pull the yellows down just a touch, but I really like your edit.

Beautiful photo! And I didn't even notice the blemish until you pointed it out. Good job!

Beautiful job - I agree with Ashley about toning down the yellow and orange to even out her skin tone and make everything else pop. :-)
