In TWO days my sweet baby girl will be FIVE years old. How in the world is this happening?!? Yesterday we celebrated her fifth birthday with a swimming party. Let me just tell you that she's been planning a swimming party for her fifth birthday since before she turned four. The girl is a party planner! For over a year she's talked and planned about this swimming party and the day finally arrived. She invited all her friends. She loves her friends! Emler is the perfect place for a swimming party except the party room was a bit small for the number of children they say they can accommodate. The pool is indoors and so kid-friendly. The kids swim and the parents can sit behind the glass in A/C. It's a little steamy in the pool area. Ella and her friends had so much fun swimming! I thought Ella would steer clear of the slides but sure enough she was coming down full force over and over again.
Last year for her party favor we made CDs with some of her favorite songs. This year she wanted to make another one. For the past two months she's been talking about the CD and asking me daily to listen to songs on itunes for her "birthday" CD. Driving me nuts! So glad that part is over. For all the moms out there -
I hope you are enjoying it I hope your kids are enjoying it. :) She would have kept going and going and going, but I had to draw the line somewhere.
