While we were in Atlanta the kids got to do some playing. Serious playing. They were able to get completely off schedule. But, that's what you do while on vacation, right? I'm pretty sure my uncle thought Bennett had given up naps for good because he didn't take them while we were out there. Well, he did one day when I laid down and took one with him and then partied until past 11:00 p.m.! They were up so late every night. They were loving life. These two kids LOVE Nathan & Kelsey. Nathan & Kelsey are two of the sweetest kids around. They just play and play with Ella and Bennett and if they are bothered by them they don't even show it but I know they aren't bothered. :) In fact, Nathan didn't think it was possible to have another child as happy as Ella...until we brought Bennett back! They did see the happier side of the kids but then again they aren't unhappy too often. Nathan is a senior and plays on the baseball team (he played football too) and Kelsey is a sophomore and plays on the softball team. They are both on travel teams as well. Gifted kiddos! We went to both a baseball and softball game. I think Ella has an interest in softball now and Bennett, well he just loves any sport. Give him the bat and he'll try to whack a ball. We really enjoyed our visit and such awesome hospitality! Sometime we'd love for them to come visit us! And, don't forgot Kelsey Chris will meet you in College Station and show you all around!! Whoop!

If there was any question if the kids were having fun just look at their faces - big smiles and red cheeks!
Kelsey's shadow
Kelsey was having a birthday while we were out...Ella referred to these as "decorations for Kelsey"
Auntie Cheryl let the kids decorate cookies. The following the day she even put them in Nathan & Kelsey's lunches! They might be heavily sprinkled. :)
On the way home from the hospital on Kelsey's birthday we stopped at the park in the neighborhood.
A couple things I found at the park.
Batting practice
Happy 16th, Kelsey!!
Cheryl in the background doing her famous whistle!
I found B sitting on the steps like this???
Nothing a little Nathan can't cheer up
All better!
This is Katie, Nathan's girlfriend since 9th grade!
The boys enjoying some cake.
Kelsey with her boyfriend, Landon, enjoying cake!
Thanks again for having us! Love to all and miss you.
In case you are wondering....we arrived home and the kids were exhausted. They were both really good in the car for me and Ella went right to sleep at the hotel. I even changed our reservation and drove further. They got back on schedule easily. Bennett took a nap the next day just like usual and has everyday. Thank goodness! Bedtime is back to 8:00.
